3D Terrain Mapping

From the smallest building all the way to entire landscapes, cities, or even countries – we have developed custom scalable workflow producing 3D Terrain Models with accuracy capability down to centimeter-level. We understand the complexity of this process better than most – and approach every project with custom-tailored solution to best fit our client’s requirements. 3D Terrain Models are the future of mapping, construction, transport and navigation. Aerial (or “bird’s eye”) view from UAVs bring exciting and engaging imagery that lifts the production value of any content. UAVs not only fill the gap between cranes and full-size aviation – but in many cases can completely replace them.

At Artrabia we have been engaged in aerial photography and cinematography for well over two decades. From still aerial imagery supporting design, architecture, real-estate, advertising and publishing – through video content for world’s top networks and streaming services such as National Geographic, Discovery, BBC, NHK, ESPN, NBC, Netflix, Amazon and many others – all the way up to 8K cinematography for international movie productions – there is no limit to our capabilities. We have pioneered some state-of-the-art technologies through in-house R&D, allowing adoption of high-end still and motion cameras onto UAV payloads. Our engineering has solved the core issues with aerial imagery, such as orientational stability and vibration isolation. We also work closely with industry leading UAV technology manufacturers (both HW and SW) to implement our solutions and their products into complex, but highly customizable workflows to fulfill the need of any client.

WHAT WE DO

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

To be the pioneers in adopting high-end photography, video and cinematography cameras as UAV payloads is only possible with our advanced in-house R&D, design and manufacturing resources. As we are always amongst the first to adopt latest imaging technologies, no off-the-shelf solutions are available to us and we are forced to design and develop our own.

Instead of compromising camera payloads to fit the limitations of existing UAVs – we start with the payload to design and develop custom support solutions and indeed even the UAV itself. We were the first in the world to develop proper uncompromising aerial solution for 8K cinematography back in 2016. With safety in mind and using highest quality components available from world’s leading manufacturers – we have designed, developed and built in-house our own highly customizable UAV platform.
